Madison Charney is currently a member of the Canadian National Skeleton team pushing for the 2022 Olympics. She has been competing on the national team since 2014, and enjoys travelling the world while competing. She has competed on the World Cup Circuit with top 10 results, and has amassed multiple top-10 finishes at World Junior Championships. During the off season, Madison is attending Mount Royal University working her way towards a Degree in Marketing.
While Madison was fortunate enough to grow up in a house hold that was able to provide opportunities for organized sport, she understands that many are not so fortunate- and that affects all of us. Madison believes that sport is an important part in a young person’s life as it helps to develop important skills that will be utilized in the future, and will translate to all areas of their life.
