Micah grew up on Vancouver Island and played integrated minor hockey before moving away at 15 to attend the Okanagan Hockey Academy. For post-secondary Micah played for Cornell University where she was a 3 year captain and her team ended the 2020 campaign ranked #1 in the nation prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Micah graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, and a minor in English while continuing to play with the Women’s National Team throughout her college years. She is a World Under 18 Gold and Silver medalist and a 2019 World Championship Bronze Medalist. Going into her sixth season with the senior national team Micah is centralized in Calgary with her sights set on Beijing 2022 while also eyeing a masters in Sport & Performance Psychology following the Olympics. Outside of hockey Micah has a passion for coaching and mentoring the next generation of young girls in her home province of British Columbia.<\/p>\r\n
