Morgan Rackel is a Calgary native and currently a pitcher for Team Canada Softball. Softball is set to return to the Olympics in 2021 after a twelve-year hiatus, last appearing in 2008 Beijing Olympics.<\/p>\r\n
Her collegiate career began at Weatherford College in Texas then continued at Austin Peay State University in Tennessee. She was a NJCAA All American, NCAA D1 Academic All American, 2x NCAA D1 All Region, 2x Conference Pitcher of the Year.<\/p>\r\n
After her collegiate career, Morgan joined Team Canada and played in the National Pro Fastpitch league with the Canadian Wild of Southern Illinois.<\/p>\r\n
Most recently she and her teammates won a silver medal at the Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru 2019.<\/p>\r\n
Morgan has also had the honour of representing Alberta on multiple occasions including the Canada Summer Games, earning a silver medal.<\/p>\r\n
