Alysia (aka Rizz) is a pilot for the Canadian women\u2019s bobsleigh team and a 2018 Olympian. She grew up in Edmonton playing every sport imaginable and attended the University of Alberta on both a Track and Field and Basketball scholarship where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Alysia moved to Calgary at the end of 2012 to pursue bobsledding for team Alberta, spending one year as a brakeman before learning how to drive the sled. She has been with the national team since 2016 and was the first woman to ever pilot a 4-man sled with a crew of all women in an International race. When Alysia isn\u2019t racing her bobsled around the world she\u2019s watching sports, petting dogs, and spending as much time as possible outside.<\/p>\n
