KidSport Calgary & Area exists because of our incredible partners and enthusiastic volunteers. Whether you’re an avid sports fan, believe that health and wellness are critical to childhood success, or simply want to make your community a better place, we want you on our team!<\/strong><\/p>\n We are continually searching for more volunteers to assist in a number of essential roles, in a variety of fun events and activities throughout the year. Opportunities range from one-off support at our fundraising events, admin support in the office, equipment sorting and outfitting support with our Calgary Flames Sports Bank, to strategic positions with one of our board committees. We\u00a0then take the material to our partner bottle depot and return 100% of\u00a0the refund to your team.\u00a0<\/p>\n Have a year-round Bottle drive with KidSportRecycling picking up refundable beverage containers from your family and friends with all proceeds going to your \u00a0<\/p>\n How?\u202f When you register for the year-round bottle drive your team will\u00a0be assigned a specific identification code that belongs to your team.\u00a0When your supporters call or text the KidSport\u00a0Recycling line at\u00a0403-680-8776\u00a0to request a pickup they mention that the proceeds are\u00a0designated to your team by giving your team’s identification code.<\/p>\n While the KidSport\u00a0Recycling program returns 100% of the refund to\u00a0your team,\u00a0you are helping KidSport raise funds as well.<\/p>\nHow? Our partner bottle depot that supports the KidSport Recycling\u00a0program pays us for taking our recycling product to their depot!
