She finished of her career by competing on the World Cup team, representing Switzerland. After retiring from a 13 year skeleton career, Micaela started working with the Alberta Tennis Centre were she is the Member Services and Operations Manager. Micaela also coaches skeleton for the Alberta Skeleton Association and most recently working as a private coach for members of the Italian World Cup skeleton team. Micaela is passionate about keeping children active and is also a Fast &amp; Female Ambassador.<\/p>\r\n<h4>&#8220;I love being a part of the KidSport team because I believe in the value of play! Not only is playing sports amazing for kids health, but I know from experience that it can transform a child&#8217;s confidence and help them perform better in school, make friends and will eventually help them be more employable adults.
