On June 19th KidSport Edmonton hosted Bids for Kids presented by GS Construction at The Bell in Scona. Guests enjoyed sampling some delicious food while bidding on fantastic items in the Silent Auction, with every winning bid supporting local KidSport Kids in Edmonton. A big thank you to Dustin Nielson, Tom Gazzola, and Shawn Belle from the team at Edmonton Sports Talk, and Oilers Cult Hero, Georges Laraque for putting on a great hot stove for the crowd during the evening.

- $65,000+ net was raised which subsidizes sport registration fees for at least 260 KidSport kids
- Donations came through 22 Corporate Partners, 34 Silent Auction items, 1 Live Auction item, a Beer Raffle with 100 beers, a 50/50, ticket sales and through the Cash Call
- Dieu-merci, former KidSport Kid shared his story, and Reed Clarke lead KidSport’s cash call
- Mark Connolly from CBC emceed the evening
