Please welcome to Team KidSport: Kenny M’Pindou, KidSport Ambassador<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kenny joins KidSport Edmonton as an Athlete Ambassador as he embarks on arguably the biggest stretch of his athletic journey. Kenny dreams of representing Canada in the 2026 Winter Olympics with the Canadian Bobsleigh<\/a> team, and a successful 2024\/25 season will put him in a strong position to turn that dream into a reality!<\/p>\n

Kenny joined Canada’s bobsleigh community after playing competitive soccer, including successful stints in Europe, however, after battling through several knee injuries and having to return to Canada due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Kenny shifted his focus to other sporting opportunities. After attending the Canadian Bobsleigh Prospect Camp in October 2021, and staying healthy for a year, Kenny was officially named to the program in 2022.<\/p>\n

\"\"“Hi, I\u2019m Kenny M’Pindou, and my story is one of perseverance, passion, and purpose. As an athlete chasing the dream of competing in the Winter Games, I\u2019ve faced my share of hurdles, serious injuries and living with a stutter being just two of them. But those challenges have only fueled my drive to push harder and smarter, not just in sports but in life.<\/em><\/p>\n

I believe that every setback is an opportunity to grow, and I want to share that message with everyone I meet, especially the next generation. I\u2019ve learned that strength doesn\u2019t just come from physical training, it comes from how we handle the tough moments, the ones where we question ourselves and think about giving up. That\u2019s where real character is built.<\/em><\/p>\n

I\u2019m here to show kids and anyone who\u2019s struggling that no dream is out of reach, no matter what obstacles stand in the way. My journey is far from over, and I\u2019m committed to using it to inspire others to embrace their own path, overcome challenges, and believe in themselves.”<\/em><\/p>\n
