KidSport Alberta is so grateful to be entering into the second year of our partnership with the Sticks & Strings Foundation.<\/p>\n

Sticks & Strings was founded by Jordan Eberle and Lauren Rodych-Eberle with the purpose of supporting the overall well-being of kids. Helping children and parents have always been their charitable focus, and one of their 5 Pillars is Sport. They believe that involvement in sports helps kids’ development, health, self-esteem, and teaches them to work as a team. Having access to teams and equipment can mean the world of a difference to a child.<\/p>\n

Over the 2 years, the Sticks & Strings Foundation has given $10,000 per year to the Provincial Fund, to ensure that every child without a local chapter has the opportunity to play. They have also donated $10,000 per year to the Indigenous Sport Council Association Fund, to support Indigenous children into a season of sport.<\/p>\n
