The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and KidSport Alberta have teamed up for the\u00a0THIRD<\/strong>\u00a0year to launch the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program (HAP)! The HAP program is dedicated to increasing access to youth hockey across Oil Country!<\/p>\n\n Approved applicants are eligible to receive\u00a0up to $750 per player<\/strong>\u00a0for their registration fees, as well as access to\u00a0no-cost equipment from Sport Central.<\/b><\/p>\n\t <\/p>\n <\/p>\n In two seasons of the HAP program, we funded\u00a0over 3,000 kids<\/strong>\u00a0into hockey and we are excited to grow that number for the 2024\/25 hockey season!<\/p>\n\t\n\t In order to apply for the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program,\u00a0 first<\/strong>\u00a0register with your local hockey association.<\/p>\n After registering, apply for KidSport funding through our\u00a0standard<\/strong>\u00a0application process.<\/p>\n Step 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n Register your child with Lac La Biche Minor Hockey<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n Apply for funding through KidSport Lac La Biche.<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Approved applicants are eligible to receive\u00a0up to $750 per player<\/strong>\u00a0for their registration fees, as well as access to\u00a0no-cost equipment from Sport Central.<\/b><\/p>\n For all families living in Lac La Biche requiring assistance through the Oil Country Hockey Assist Program, please apply by clicking the button below.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAPPLY HERE\n\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\tWhat communities are part of KidSport Lac La Biche? <\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t Lac La Biche County (Lac La Biche, Beaver Lake, Hylo, Plamondon, Venice)<\/strong><\/p>\n If your child is NOT registered through Lac La Biche hockey programs, first register for your hockey association of choice, then you can apply directly through KidSport Lac La Biche to access the Oil Country Hockey Assist Program.<\/p>\n Approved applicants are eligible to receive\u00a0up to $750 per player<\/strong>\u00a0for their registration fees, as well as access to\u00a0no-cost equipment from Sport Central.<\/b><\/p>\n For all families playing with associations in Lac La Biche County requiring assistance through the Oil Country Hockey Assist Program, please apply by clicking the button below.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAPPLY HERE\n\t\t\t<\/a>\n If your child is NOT living in Lac La Biche county, you can apply through your local KidSport chapter to access the Oil Country Hockey Assist Program.<\/p>\n See the list below to find your local KidSport chapter:<\/p>\n\t Bonnyville<\/a><\/p>\n Camrose<\/a><\/p>\n Cold Lake<\/a><\/p>\n Edmonton<\/a><\/p>\n Fairview<\/a><\/p>\n Fort Saskatchewan<\/a><\/p>\n Grande Cache<\/a><\/p>\n Grande Prairie<\/a><\/p>\n Lacombe County<\/a><\/p>\n Leduc & County<\/a><\/p>\n Parkland<\/a><\/p>\n Ponoka<\/a><\/p>\n\t Provost<\/a><\/p>\n Red Deer<\/a><\/p>\n St. Albert<\/a><\/p>\n St. Paul<\/a><\/p>\n Slave Lake<\/a><\/p>\n Stettler<\/a><\/p>\n Vegreville<\/a><\/p>\n Vermilion<\/a><\/p>\n Viking<\/a><\/p>\n Wainwright<\/a><\/p>\n Whitecourt<\/a><\/p>\n Wood Buffalo<\/a><\/p>\n If you are playing with an association outside of Lac La Biche County, check this list<\/a>\u00a0to see what chapter covers the area you live in.<\/p>\n If you live\u00a0outside of a KidSport Chapter<\/strong>, you can still apply for a KidSport grant through the\u00a0Provincial Fund.<\/p>\n Click the button below to be re-directed to the KidSport Alberta Provincial Fund page.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPROVINCIAL FUND \n\t\t\t<\/a>\n KidSport chapters refer families to Sport Central<\/a> to provide necessary equipment for their sport.<\/p>\n Sport Central is located in Edmonton. For families located outside of Edmonton area, there are options available. A remote sizing kit can be sent to you and equipment shipment options are available through our trusted partner Rosenau Transport Ltd<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n The Hockey Assist Program (HAP) is a fee assistance program that covers a portion, if not all, of the registration fee connected to competition and season-based ice hockey programs.<\/p>\n The Oil Country Hockey Assist Program helps subsidize hockey registration (max: $750) and gives you access to no-cost equipment through\u00a0Sport Central<\/a>.<\/p>\n The following programs are covered through the HAP program.
