KidSport Lacombe County is proud to announce that we will begin funding kids March 1, 2022!
Thanks to the incredible support we have received from our community so far, we have raised enough funds to start providing grants to local low-income kids to get them back to sport this year! These last few years have been tough and we are thrilled that we will be able to start getting kids back to sport and back to a sense of normalcy. The power of sport participation promotes the development of children's social, mental, and physical well-being and we believe that ALL kids deserve the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of sport.
Qualified kids will be eligible for up to $250/year to help cover their sport registration fees. Do you need equipment in order to play? Once you're approved for KidSport, we can make a referral to our partner agency Sport Central so that you can get the gear you need at no cost.
KidSport Lacombe will be supporting kids across Lacombe County! This includes the following communities: Lacombe, Blackfalds, Clive, Eckville, Bentley, Alix, Morningside, Haynes, Joffre, Mirror, Tees, Rosedale Valley, Gull Lake, Sunbreaker Cove, Birchcliff, and Half Moon Bay.

With your support, KidSport Lacombe will help local kids experience the lifelong benefits of sport; kids learn leadership, hard work, dedication, and self-confidence, and build the habits and support network necessary to become healthy adults. Through sport, kids also gain access to mentorship and guidance from experienced sport leaders, further developing their skills, and helping them grow into our future community leaders.
Sport is one of the best gifts a kid can receive. Your donation to or sponsorship of KidSport Lacombe helps us make it So ALL Kids Can Play! Learn more here.
Let's get these kids back on the ice, field, floor, and pitch!
