The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and KidSport Alberta have teamed up for the\u00a0THIRD<\/strong>\u00a0year to launch the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program (HAP)! The HAP program is dedicated to increasing access to youth hockey across Oil Country!<\/p>\n\n Approved applicants are eligible to receive\u00a0up to $750 per player<\/strong>\u00a0for their registration fees, as well as access to\u00a0no-cost equipment from Sport Central.<\/b><\/p>\n\t <\/p>\n\t \u00a0 <\/p>\n\t In order to apply for the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program,\u00a0\u00a0first<\/strong>\u00a0register with your local hockey association.<\/p>\n After registering, apply for KidSport funding through our\u00a0standard<\/strong>\u00a0application process.<\/p>\n If your family is living within Oil Country (Red Deer County & North) but outside of the chapter boundaries listed below,\u00a0 you can still apply for a KidSport grant through our Provincial Fund.<\/p>\n Please scroll down to see if a chapter near you covers the area you live in before applying to the KidSport Alberta Provincial Fund.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAre you interested in regional participation with limited game travel and an average of 1 pratice per week?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t Check out FunTeam Alberta!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n With options to play low-cost, low-commitment hockey in these communities:<\/p>\n For more information, visit: https:\/\/register.funteamalberta.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tAre you interested in league participation that requires travel and an average of 2 practices per week?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t Visit Hockey Alberta’s website here<\/a> for more information about associations in your area.<\/p>\n\t\n Step 1:<\/strong> Register with your local hockey association<\/p>\n Step 2:<\/strong> Apply for funding through the KidSport Provincial Fund<\/a><\/p>\n Step 3:<\/strong> If you require equipment, KidSport Alberta will connect you with our equipment partner, Sport Central.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Approved applicants are eligible to receive\u00a0up to $750 per player<\/strong>\u00a0for their registration fees, as well as access to\u00a0no-cost equipment from Sport Central.<\/b><\/p>\n For all families living and playing hockey in Oil Country that live outside of our chapter boundaries requiring assistance through the Oil Country Hockey Assist Program, please apply by clicking the button below.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAPPLY HERE\n\t\t\t<\/a>\n If your family is living within the boundaries of one of our chapters listed below, you can apply directly through your local KidSport chapter to access the Oil Country Hockey Assist Program.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\tApply for funding through a local KidSport chapter<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tExpand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t There are 25 KidSport chapters located in Oil Country.
