\n\t\t\twhat is the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program?\t<\/h2>\n\t\n

Thanks to the support of the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation<\/a>, through their Every Kid Deserves a Shot<\/a> initiative presented by Rogers, we’re excited to launch the\u00a0FOURTH<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0season of the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program (HAP). HAP is dedicated to increasing access to youth hockey across Oil Country.<\/p>\n

Approved applicants are eligible to receive up to $750 per player<\/strong> for their registration fees, as well as access to\u00a0no-cost equipment from Sport Central<\/a>.<\/b><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tIT’S BACK! \t<\/h2>\n\t

 <\/p>\n

In three seasons of the HAP program, we have funded over 4,776\u00a0 kids<\/strong> into hockey<\/strong> and have provided over 2,487 kids with hockey equipment<\/strong> for their season! We are incredibly excited to grow that number for the 2025\/26 hockey season!<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"EKDaS\"\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\"\"\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n

\n\t\t\tHow do I apply?\t<\/h2>\n\t

In order to apply for the HAP program,\u00a0 first<\/strong> register with your local hockey association.<\/p>\n

After registering,\u00a0apply for KidSport funding through our application process.<\/p>\n

Through the HAP program, KidSport chapters refer families to Sport Central<\/a> to provide necessary equipment for their upcoming hockey season!<\/p>\n

Through three seasons of the HAP program, Sport Central has provided equipment to over 2,487 kids across Oil Country!<\/p>\n

Please submit page 2 of your Canada Child Benefit Notice from the most recent tax year with your application.<\/p>\n

Page 2 of this notice states the family net income and lists your children’s names.<\/p>\n

This notice is mailed to all families in June or July each year, or can be accessed on your CRA<\/a> online account.<\/p>\n
