\r\n\t\tTHE ISCA KIDSPORT FUND\r\n\t<\/h2>\r\n\t
Both KidSport Alberta and the Indigenous Sport Council of Alberta (ISCA) recognize the importance of doing more to assist Indigenous children into sport.\u00a0 They are committed to doing their part by providing funding for sport registration fees to help break down one of the many barriers of sport participation.<\/h6>\r\n\r\n
Indigenous families in Alberta that live in areas of the province\u00a0not covered by a local KidSport chapter<\/strong>\u00a0now have a specific online application to apply for KidSport funding. A family should check\u00a0here<\/a>\u00a0to ensure they are not covered by a KidSport chapter prior to using this new application form.<\/h6>\r\n\r\n
If the family is not covered by a local chapter please\u00a0use this registration form<\/a>\u00a0to register for the ISCA KidSport application<\/strong>.\u00a0 This registration is only required once, the family login to the KidSport online application system will then have access to the application for any future applications.\u00a0 If the family lives in an area covered by a local chapter please click on the\u00a0chapter name in this list<\/a>\u00a0to be taken to their website to apply.<\/h6>\r\n\r\n

\r\n\t\tWhat is the Oil Country Hockey Assist Program (HAP)?\r\n\t<\/h2>\r\n\t

The Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation and KidSport Alberta have teamed up for the\u00a0THIRD<\/strong>\u00a0year to launch the KidSport Oil Country Hockey Assist Program (HAP)! The HAP program is dedicated to increasing access to youth hockey across Oil Country!<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Approved applicants are eligible to receive\u00a0up to $750 per player<\/strong>\u00a0for their registration fees, as well as access to\u00a0no-cost equipment from Sport Central.<\/b><\/p>\r\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Register to play hockey in your community.<\/p>\r\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Register for the ISCA KidSport Application.<\/a> This registration is only required once.<\/p>\r\n

The family can login to the KidSport online application system<\/a> to have access to the application for future applications. to receive funding.<\/p>\r\n

Step 3:<\/strong> If you require equipment, KidSport Alberta will connect you with our equipment partner, Sport Central.<\/p>\r\n
