{"id":848,"date":"2025-07-28T22:58:13","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T22:58:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kidsportcanada.ca\/british-columbia\/sunshine-coast\/?post_type=news_stories&#038;p=848"},"modified":"2025-07-28T22:58:13","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T22:58:13","slug":"huge-thanks-to-the-sunshine-coast-lions-club","status":"publish","type":"news_stories","link":"https:\/\/kidsportcanada.ca\/british-columbia\/sunshine-coast\/fr\/news-stories\/huge-thanks-to-the-sunshine-coast-lions-club\/","title":{"rendered":"HUGE THANKS to the Sunshine Coast Lions Club!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Sunshine Coast Lions Club has partnered with KidSport Sunshine Coast since 2010 as a Community Champion (donors who contribute $2,000 each year).<\/p>\n<p>In 2025 the Lions Club provided grants to 1 child in sailing, 1 in hockey, 1 in lacrosse, 1 in gymnastics and 8 in soccer, amounting to $4,000.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2010 the Lions Club has helped 399 kids and provided KidSport Sunshine Coast with $74,254 to distribute in grants.<\/p>\n<p>This amazing group of volunteers work tirelessly every week raising funds to help community organizations on the Coast.
