Find your way and join the KidSport British Columbia team.\t<\/h3>\n<h2>\n\t\t\tVOLUNTEER\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>KidSport is a grassroots organization, so volunteer opportunities are mostly at the local level supporting operations with one of our local KidSport chapters across the province. You can find your local community chapter and reach out directly to get connected with opportunities or contact our provincial office staff at <a href=\"mailto:kidsport@sportbc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kidsport@sportbc.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Typical volunteer opportunities include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Join your local KidSport chapter<\/strong> &#8211; roles typically include admin, marketing\/social media, events and fundraising. Note: KidSport does not host any sport programs directly, so we do not have volunteer opportunities in coaching or working directly with kids.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Event volunteers<\/strong> &#8211; these are typically managed by each chapter. Volunteers are typically required for set up, tear down, and various support roles during special events.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Whitecaps 50\/50<\/strong> &#8211; KidSport BC is the charity partner for the Whitecaps 50\/50 program. Volunteers sell 50\/50 tickets to fans at BC Place during Whitecaps home games. Must be 19+. Volunteers join us at BC Place for home matches to sell 50\/50 tickets.
