There is a dropbox for applications in the lobby of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportmanitoba.ca\/contact\/\">Sport Manitoba<\/a> where you can submit your application.<\/h3>\n<h2>\n\t\tQu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019une subvention?\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Manitoba provides grants of up to <strong>$500<\/strong> per eligible kid, per year (January 1st &#8211; December 31st) towards sport registration fees. Clubs eligible for Kidsport funding must be active members of their Provincial Sport Organizations (PSO). If you are not sure if the club you want to apply for is a member of their respective PSO, we recommend contacting them to find out. You can find a list of all the Provincial Sport Organizations on the Sport Manitoba website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportmanitoba.ca\/sport-manitoba\/partners\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Grants are intended to be used for sport registration fees; travel, competitions, uniforms and camps are not eligible for funding. Grants cannot be issued to programs\/seasons that have already concluded.<\/p>\n\n\t<h2>Crit\u00e8res d\u2019admissibilit\u00e9<\/h2>\n<h1>\n\t\tNEW\n\t<\/h1>\n\tIf your family&#8217;s financial situation has been impacted due to COVID-19, please submit both parents or single parent 2021 Notice of Assessment along with verification that you have received any of the following:\n<ul>\n<li>\nCanada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB)\n<\/li>\n<li>\nEmployment Insurance Benefits\n<\/li>\n<li>\nIncome Assistance or Indigenous Social Assistance\n<\/li>\n<li>\nTemporary Wage Top-Up (Low Income Essential Workers)\n<\/li>\n<li>\nCanada Emergency Student Benefit (CESB)\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>KidSport uses the Statistics Canada Low Income Cut-off guidelines as a tool to determine which families are eligible for assistance. Those looking for funding assistance at the AA or AAA levels are eligible for KidSport support. Let the program&#8217;s administrators know you will be applying for KidSport funding. The sport must have an active Provincial Sport Organization (PSO) within Sport Manitoba. If you are not sure if the sport you want to apply for has a PSO, please visit the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sportmanitoba.ca\/sport-manitoba\/partners\">Sport Manitoba website<\/a> for a list of current PSO&#8217;s<\/li>\n<li>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/kidsportcanada.ca\/manitoba\/fr\/chapters\/\">here<\/a>\u00a0to find your local KidSport Chapter<\/li>\n<li>Apply online or use the paper application form &#8211; be sure to complete all sections of the application, as incomplete applications take much longer to process, and can cause delays in receiving your grant.<\/li>\n<li>Your completed application will be processed within 30 days of being received. If you qualify for KidSport funding, the grant will be sent directly to the sport program your kid has signed up for.
