KidSport Manitoba is looking for <\/span><b>two dedicated volunteers<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> to join our Provincial Advisory Board!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">KidSport Manitoba is divided into five regions, modeled after the Manitoba health regions. We need one volunteer to represent the <\/span><b>Manitoba South Region<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and one for the <\/span><b>Manitoba<\/b> <b>East Region<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of the province. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping to ensure all kids can play!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1340\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/103\/Untitled-500-x-500-px.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/103\/Untitled-500-x-500-px.jpg 500w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/103\/Untitled-500-x-500-px-400x400.jpg 400w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/103\/Untitled-500-x-500-px-12x12.jpg 12w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/b><\/h3>\n<h3><b>Volunteer Responsibilities:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As a member of the Provincial Advisory Board, you will:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Participate in bi-annual meetings<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (via conference call or in-person) to:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Review and make recommendations on KidSport Manitoba\u2019s annual plans.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Evaluate, adjudicate, and recommend proposals for special projects.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Identify issues and solutions from regional\/local committees to improve the program.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Build connections<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by identifying alliances or partnerships with organizations and individuals to enhance the KidSport program.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Support local fundraising efforts<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by forming a regional committee (with the help of the Provincial office) to organize at least one regional fundraiser for 2025.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Represent KidSport locally<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by attending meetings, events, and presentations when applicable.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><b>Be an ambassador for KidSport<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, spreading awareness about the program through your networks and sharing its benefits in your community.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><b>Who We\u2019re Looking For:<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We are seeking passionate individuals with a commitment to building inclusive and active communities.
