Scroll down to learn more about our program and get answers to all of your questions.\n\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/kidsport.smartsimple.ca\/s_Login.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAPPLY ONLINE NOW\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n<h2>\n\t\tWhat is a Grant?\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Restigouche provides grants of up to $400 per eligible child, per year (January 1st &#8211; December 31st) towards sport registration fees.<\/p>\n<p>Do you need equipment in order to play? Let us know, and we can make a referral to a partner agency. KidSport grants are intended to be used for sport registration fees; travel and competitions are not eligible for funding.<\/p>\n\t<h3>Eligibility Requirements<\/h3>\n\t<p>KidSport Restigouche uses the following eligibility requirements to determine financial eligibility for grants provided through the Provincial Fund.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tax Assessment from the most recent tax year<\/li>\n<li>3 most recent pay stubs<\/li>\n<li>Explanation of extenuating circumstances<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\t<h3>How Do I Apply?<\/h3>\n\t<p>Find a sport program your kid would like to join and sign up. KidSport grants help cover the cost of registration fees, So ALL Kids Can Play!<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-1\">What does a KidSport grant cover?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-1\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>KidSport grants cover the cost of sport registration and equipment fees for qualified families. Grants are intended to remove financial barriers to sport programs, and cannot be applied to transportation, or tournament fees.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-2\">What sports are eligible?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-2\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>Sport activities must be recognized by the member organizations of Sport New Brunswick.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-3\">What communities are covered by KidSport Restigouche?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-3\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>KidSport Restigouche covers families who live in the Restigouche area. If you reside outside of this area please find your local chapter or apply to the KidSport New Brunswick Provincial Fund<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-4\">When is the deadline to apply?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-4\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\tYour completed application will be processed within 30 days from the following deadline:<br \/>\nJanuary 31<br \/>\nMay 1<br \/>\nSeptember 1\n<p>You must register your kid in a sports program prior to applying for KidSport funding. Each program is different, but many do require that KidSport funding be received prior to the program&#8217;s start date. You should apply for a KidSport grant as soon as possible after your kid has been registered, as it can sometimes take up to 30 days for applications to be processed.<\/p>\n<p>KidSport grants cannot be applied to programs that have already ended.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-5\">How will I know if the application has been approved?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-5\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>If you have applied online, you will be sent an automatic, system-generated email with your approval information.<\/p>\n<p>If you have applied offline (in-person, through an emailed PDF form, or through a printed form), you must include your email address in order to receive confirmation of your approval.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-6\">How do I demonstrate financial eligibility?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-6\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t\n<p>We strongly recommend this option, as it is free, and the fastest way to obtain your statement.<\/p>\n<p>You may also request your statement by mail.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-7\">What if the child lives outside of the area we cover?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-7\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>If your family lives outside of the area we cover, you can apply to the KidSport New Brunswick Provincial Fund. The provincial fund works like a big chapter, and covers all communities across the province.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-8\">Is my information kept private and confidential?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-8\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>Yes, all your personal information will be stored securely and destroyed once appropriate. Our online application system is secure and trustworthy.
