KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Newfoundland & Labrador provides grants of up to $4<\/strong>00 <\/b>per eligible kid, per year (January 1st – December 31st)\u00a0 towards sport registration and equipment fees.\u00a0<\/p>\n Grants are intended to be used for sport registration and equipment fees; travel and competitions are not eligible for funding. <\/p>\n\t KidSport Newfoundland & Labrador uses Statistics Canada Low Income Cut-offs <\/b>to determine financial eligibility for grants provided through the Provincial Fund.
