Cassie Hawrysh is a former Professional Skeleton Racer with the Canadian National Team. Through her 8 years of racing head first, Cassie celebrated highlights that include:

  • Winning on both Calgary and Whistler tracks to take the Canadian National Championship title in 2013/14.
  • Two World Cup medals and a 2012/13 World Cup ranking of 8th overall.
  • Being named the Canadian Alternate Sled in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics

Cassie’s elite athletic background, in a variety of sports (volleyball, track and field, and skeleton) played a vital role on her path in life. Motivational speaking, hosting, writing, public relation and brand management are just tip of the iceberg.

With a degree in the field of Journalism and her intense drive to challenge the status quo, she has held positions with provincial governments, not for profits, large corporations, public broadcasters, incorporated her own company and most recently, was the first female to be named Skeleton Head Coach at the Whistler Sliding Centre’s – Sliding Development Centre in Whistler, BC.

Cassie knows exactly what it takes to achieve massive goals along the pursuit of passion, and inspires everyone around her to relentlessly push towards their greatness!
