Community Sport in Peterborough, Lakefield, and Norwood will now have the opportunity to bring more kids off the sidelines and into a season of their favourite sport thanks to a generous $25,000 donation to KidSport Ontario from Hydro One. By providing youth in low-income and marginalized situations a chance to experience all the benefits sport has to offer, KidSport and Hydro One are working together to energize and support communities.<\/p>\n
Joined by Mayor Diane Therrien of Peterborough and Trent University student-athlete Rosalyn Shepherd, the power of community and sport were on full display.<\/p>\n
