\n\t\tQu\u2019est-ce qu\u2019une subvention?\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport North Bay provides grants of up to $500 per eligible child, per year (January 1st – December 31st) towards sport registration fees.\u00a0 KidSport Family Income threshold is $60,000.00.<\/p>\n

NEW for 2024<\/strong> – Deadline to apply for funding is November 1st<\/strong> of the current year.<\/p>\n

Avez-vous besoin d\u2019articles de sport pour pouvoir jouer? Faites-le-nous savoir et nous pr\u00e9senterons votre demande \u00e0 un organisme partenaire. Les subventions de SportJeunesse servent \u00e0 payer les frais d\u2019inscription au sport : les d\u00e9placements et la participation aux comp\u00e9titions ne sont pas des d\u00e9penses admissibles.<\/p>\n

Please Note:\u00a0<\/strong> Please do not pre-pay for Registration or Equipment fees as we are unable to issue Grants to families.\u00a0 The Grant must be made payable to the Sport Club or Equipment Dealer.<\/p>\n

Should your child require Equipment, please provide an official quote from Skater’s North Source for Sports for protective gear only.\u00a0 This is the only equipment retailer that the KidSport North Bay Chapter has a relationship with.<\/p>\n\t

Crit\u00e8res d\u2019admissibilit\u00e9<\/h3>\n\t

SportJeunesse North Bay utilise [include eligibility requirements] pour d\u00e9terminer l\u2019admissibilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re aux subventions fournies par l\u2019interm\u00e9diaire du fonds provincial.<\/p>\n

NOTE:\u00a0<\/strong>In addition to the documentation required, KidSport North Bay will be verifying the following information from the Sport Organization for your health and safety:<\/p>\n

    1. That provincial government has allowed for sport to resume<\/em><\/li>\n
    2. That the municipality has allowed for sport to resume<\/em><\/li>\n
    3. That the governing body (PSO) has publically released a Return-To-Play procedure that member organizations must follow<\/em><\/li>\n
    4. That the sport group has a publically posted Return-to-Play procedure <\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Que dois-je faire pour demander une subvention?<\/h3>\n\t

      Find a sport program your kid would like to join and sign up. Let the program’s administrators know you will be applying for KidSport funding.<\/p>\n

      2. Apply online or use the paper application form – be sure to complete all sections of the application, as incomplete applications take much longer to process, and can cause delays in receiving your grant.<\/li>\n
      3. Votre demande d\u00fbment remplie sera trait\u00e9e dans les 30 jours suivant sa r\u00e9ception. Si vous \u00eates admissible au financement de SportJeunesse, la subvention sera envoy\u00e9e directement au programme de sport auquel vous avez inscrit votre enfant.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
