THE JONATHAN GAYLE MEMORIAL ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAME<\/strong><\/p>\n Jonathan Gayle – a rising TSN Broadcaster, Sportsnet Editor, and distinguished graduate of St. Theresa of Lisieux CHS – was tragically slain at the age of 29 in a December 2018 carjacking in Toronto. The STL Alumni Basketball Lions, as well as family and friends of Jonathan Gayle, are honouring his memory by hosting a charity fundraiser basketball game. Jonathan was an outstanding student-athlete and class valedictorian at STL. He starred on the Lions Basketball and Soccer teams. He was a respected leader on and off the court and pitch. In addition to being a Sports Broadcaster for TSN, Jonathan was involved in Youth Sports as a Coach and felt that all children should have a chance to play their favorite sport. Proceeds generated by this Memorial Basketball Game and its related events will be donated to KidSport Toronto, The Gayle family\u2019s Charity of Choice that best aligns with Jonathan Gayle\u2019s values as a Student-Athlete, Youth Sports Coach, and Sports Broadcaster.<\/p>\n The event will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Unveiling of The Jonathan Gayle Memorial Garden Plans 23 STL Lions Alumni Basketball Players Confirmed (Maximum 30)<\/strong>: Emcee\/Play-By-Play Confirmed<\/strong>: Marc-Anthony Sinogoga, Kevin Michie, and Alan Lewis
