Born in Montague, Jessica Shepard was a part of the KidSport\u2122 program as a kid and found a strong support system in wrestling, one that she didn\u2019t know she needed until she got older. From 10 to 15 years old, Jessica participated in wrestling training and tournaments, and her passion for the sport led her to take home 16 medals and 6 ribbons!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Jessica says by being involved in a sport she always had someone to talk to in her coaches, friends, and teammates, and no matter what they always took care of her. Now, as a KidSport\u2122 PEI ambassador, Jessica wants to help as many Islander children as possible and give them the opportunity to play and find the support system they need, just as she was once given. <\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"featured_media":644,"template":"","meta":[],"categories":[16],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
