Second-degree Judo black belt, Saul Hood comes from a big family of 12! As a KidSport\u2122 kid, he knew he wanted to become a black belt from the moment he met his coach at age six\u2013a task that requires a lot of discipline and hard work.<\/span><\/p>\n He believes that through sports, kids are able to develop confidence, leadership skills, and perseverance\u2013virtues that they will take for life. Without being part of the Kidsport\u2122 program, Saul says that he may not have been able to be involved in judo at all.<\/span><\/p>\n Today, Saul is a Judo coach and a KidSport\u2122 PEI ambassador, giving back to the community and helping Island children develop crucial skills through the power of sport.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":642,"template":"","meta":[],"categories":[16],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
