SportJeunesse Quebec is proud to announce a sweep of newly elected roles within the Board of Directors to kick start the province’s future objectives. Philippe Leone has been elected Chair of the SportJeunesse Quebec Board and will spearhead the direction of the provincial chapter on a 1-year term. Leone is currently the <\/span>Global Director of Risk Management for Saputo. He sees himself as a passionate supporter of sport and is a former professional CPGA golf instructor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, as the father of two active young boys, he spends much of his time introducing them to new sports, coaching and supporting their teams and volunteering in the local sports community. Philippe also holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Process Reengineering from HEC, a certificate of Law from the Universit\u00e9 of Montr\u00e9al and a Certificate in Risk Management from the Universit\u00e9 de Laval.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI hope to bring structure and leadership [to SportJeunesse Quebec] so we can reach as many kids and families as possible to make joining a sport possible for them. I also hope to build new partnerships with sponsors who believe in the mission SportJeunesse Quebec,\u201d said Leone.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWith the support of an amazing group of persons so devoted to this great initiative and sitting on the board with me, I am confident that we will be able to make an impact in the lives of many children\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Supporting Leone on the SportJeunesse Quebec board will be Vincent Dumas, who is the current Manager, Sport Market at Tourisme Montreal, as Vice Chair, Joulia Elhami as Secretary and Sami Nathoo as Treasurer. The entire SportJeunesse Board is encompassed by 11 passionate industry leaders whom also includes Eric Given, MArcel Pronovost, Greg Chenier, Mariane Parent, Mike Sallustio, Mathieu Chamberland and Andrew Baker.,<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>My hope for KidSport in Quebec is that it becomes a highly recognized organization, known for its success in getting as many kids involved in sports as possible,\u201d said Leone.<\/span><\/p>\n
