Scroll down to learn more about our program and get answers to all of your questions.\n\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/kidsport.smartsimple.ca\/s_Login.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" role=\"button\" rel=\"noopener\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAPPLY ONLINE NOW\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n<h2>\n\t\tWhat is a Grant?\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Esterhazy provides grants of up to $750 per eligible child, per year (January 1st &#8211; December 31st) towards sport registration fees.<\/p>\n<p>Do you need equipment in order to play? Let us know. Let the program&#8217;s administrators know you will be applying for KidSport funding. It will be up to the sport if they allow registration prior to registration fees being paid.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/[find_chapter]\">Click here<\/a> to find your local KidSport Chapter, or if your community is not listed please apply to the provincial fund.<\/li>\n<li>Apply online or use the paper application form &#8211; be sure to complete all sections of the application, as incomplete applications take much longer to process, and can cause delays in receiving your grant. You must apply prior to the start of the sport.<\/li>\n<li>Your completed application will be processed within 30 days of being received. If you qualify for KidSport funding, the grant will be sent directly to the sport program your kid has signed up for.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>You can submit a paper application by mail, fax or e-mail:<\/p>\nKidSport Saskatchewan<br \/>\n1870 Lorne Street, Regina, SK S4P 2L7<br \/>\n<a href=\"mailto:kidsport@sasksport.ca\">kidsport@sasksport.ca<\/a>\n<h5>\n\t\tONLINE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:\n\t<\/h5>\n\t<ul>\n<li>Click Apply Online Now button.<\/li>\n<li>You will be required to set up a profile using your email address.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have registered your email, a verification message will be sent to your email, and will include your temporary password. The password can be changed when you login.<\/li>\n<li>When you start your new application, click Chapter by List and choose your KidSport chapter.<\/li>\n<li>Your application can be saved at any time while filing it out. Each program is different, but many do require that KidSport funding be received prior to the program&#8217;s start date. You should apply for a KidSport grant as soon as possible after your kid has been registered, as it can sometimes take up to 30 days for applications to be processed.<\/p>\n<p>KidSport grants cannot be applied to programs that have already ended.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-5\">How will I know if the application has been approved?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-5\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>If you have applied online, you will be sent a system-generated email with your approval information within 30 days of your application.<\/p>\n<p>If you have applied offline (paper), if you choose your method of correspondence as email, you will receive confirmation of the decision on the application via email, otherwise the decision will be mailed to you within 30 days of your application.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-6\">How do I demonstrate financial eligibility?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-6\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>Please provide one of the following as proof of financial eligibility: Notice of Assessment, Proof of income statement or 3 most recent pay stubs or an assistance statement. Please note additional documents may be requested by the KidSport Committee.<\/p>\n\n<p>We strongly recommend this option, as it is free, and the fastest way to obtain your statement.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-7\">What if the child lives outside of the area we cover?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-7\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>If your family lives outside of the area we cover, you can apply to the KidSport Provincial Fund. The provincial fund covers all communities that do not have a KidSport chapter.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--label-8\">Is my information kept private and confidential?<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"#\" id=\"fl-accordion--icon-8\"><i>Expand<\/i><\/a>\n\t\t<p>Yes, all your personal information will be stored securely and destroyed once appropriate.
