Emily Clark was born and raised in Saskatoon and started playing hockey at a young age.
Clark first represented Canada on the national stage playing with the under-18 team in 2011. In 2012 and 2013 she helped Canada win back-to-back gold medals at the U18 Championships. In her first appearance with the National Women’s Team in 2014, her team won gold at the Four Nations Cup. Clark made her world championship debut with the National Team in 2015 and helped Canada win three consecutive silver medals. In 2018, she fulfilled her childhood dream of representing Canada at the Olympics where they took home the silver medal.
