KidSport Saskatchewan annonce la cr\u00e9ation d'une premi\u00e8re section dans une Premi\u00e8re nation au Canada<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Dinah Marion, au nom de la nation crie de James Smith, accueille KidSport dans la communaut\u00e9 pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer le d\u00e9but d'une relation \u00e0 long terme avec l'organisme de bienfaisance pour enfants, en tant que premi\u00e8re section locale d'une Premi\u00e8re nation au Canada.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>\u201cKidSport offrira davantage de possibilit\u00e9s \u00e0 nos jeunes et les aidera \u00e0 surmonter les obstacles gr\u00e2ce au sport\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Mme Marion. \u201cMes enfants ont pu participer \u00e0 des sports organis\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l'aide de KidSport. Le fait d'avoir une section dans notre communaut\u00e9 me permet d'aider les jeunes et les parents \u00e0 s'informer sur le soutien financier disponible pour les sports.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>Lors de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement, les participants ont reconnu l'importance de ce partenariat et la fa\u00e7on dont il contribuera \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les obstacles \u00e0 l'acc\u00e8s au sport. Les recettes provenant d'\u00e9v\u00e9nements tels que la r\u00e9cente campagne de collecte de fonds du Mois du sport pour les enfants soutiennent les enfants et les jeunes issus de familles confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des obstacles financiers et leur permettent de pratiquer des sports tels que le hockey, le football, la crosse, le volley-ball et le basket-ball ; les enfants de la nation crie de James Smith auront d\u00e9sormais cette possibilit\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>La section a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9e gr\u00e2ce au financement de Sport canadien pour tous par l'interm\u00e9diaire de Sport Canada. KidSport Saskatchewan a reconnu que la communaut\u00e9 avait un certain nombre de demandes provenant de la r\u00e9gion et a pens\u00e9 qu'il s'agirait d'un endroit id\u00e9al pour une section.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Au cours de la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration, environ 150 \u00e9l\u00e8ves ont entendu Brett Lachance, de la nation crie de James Smith, parler de l'influence positive que le sport a eue sur sa vie. Les enfants ont ensuite eu l'occasion de jouer \u00e0 des jeux apr\u00e8s la c\u00e9l\u00e9bration officielle.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLe sport est plus qu'un simple jeu, c'est un d\u00e9veloppement mental, \u00e9motionnel, physique et spirituel qui aura un impact sur toute la vie\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Lachance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dorothy Josephson, membre du comit\u00e9 KidSport Saskatchewan, a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 le chapitre KidSport James Smith Cree Nation et KidSport Saskatchewan pour le travail accompli lors du lancement du chapitre.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCe chapitre est lanc\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce au financement de Sport Canada pour tous par l'interm\u00e9diaire de Sport Canada. Ce financement vise \u00e0 \u00e9liminer les obstacles et \u00e0 augmenter les taux de participation au sport pour les groupes sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s\u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Josephson.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCette initiative s'inscrit dans la mission de KidSport, qui consiste \u00e0 aider les enfants de familles confront\u00e9es \u00e0 des obstacles financiers \u00e0 pratiquer un sport. TOUS<\/u><\/em><\/strong> Les enfants peuvent jouer !\u201d<\/h4>\n
