Au d\u00e9part, il n'\u00e9tait pas motiv\u00e9 pour faire du b\u00e9n\u00e9volat, mais lorsqu'il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 en apprendre davantage sur la mission de KidSport et son impact sur les jeunes, sa passion a grandi. Ce qui a commenc\u00e9 pour Mike comme une obligation s'est transform\u00e9 en passion et cela fait maintenant plus de 15 ans qu'il travaille pour KidSport Melfort.<\/p>\n<p>Le sport a toujours fait partie de la vie de Mike. Il a commenc\u00e9 par jouer au hockey, au baseball et au football, et a pu jouer au golf avec son p\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLe b\u00e9n\u00e9volat est important pour moi car c'est un moyen de rendre \u00e0 ma communaut\u00e9 et aux sports qui m'ont tant apport\u00e9 en grandissant\u201d, d\u00e9clare Mike.<\/p>\n<p>KidSport est un \u00e9l\u00e9ment important de la communaut\u00e9 sportive de Melfort depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, et Mike a vu la communaut\u00e9 refl\u00e9ter cette valeur par des dons g\u00e9n\u00e9reux et un soutien continu. Mike est tr\u00e8s fier des relations qu'il a nou\u00e9es avec les dirigeants, les clubs sportifs et les familles de la communaut\u00e9. Il est \u00e9galement fier de l'aide que KidSport a apport\u00e9e aux jeunes athl\u00e8tes de la communaut\u00e9 au fil des ans pour qu'ils r\u00e9ussissent dans le sport de leur choix.<\/p>\n<p>Le conseil de Mike aux b\u00e9n\u00e9voles actuels et potentiels est d'\u00e9tablir autant de r\u00e9seaux que possible avec les organismes de sport, les leaders de la communaut\u00e9, les organismes de sport et de garder les voies de communication ouvertes.
