Shelley a \u00e9t\u00e9 invit\u00e9e \u00e0 s'impliquer aupr\u00e8s de KidSport Carlyle d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but. Au lancement du chapitre, le comit\u00e9 souhaitait un lien avec les \u00e9coles, et qui de mieux qu'une enseignante ayant ces liens?<\/p>\n

Le parcours de Shelley dans le monde du sport a commenc\u00e9 tr\u00e8s jeune. Ses parents reconnaissaient l'importance de rester actif et encouragaient leurs enfants \u00e0 essayer une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de sports. Une fois devenue enseignante, elle a voulu redonner \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 sportive. Elle a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 entra\u00eener et continue d'entra\u00eener l'athl\u00e9tisme \u00e0 ce jour.<\/p>\n

Elle a r\u00e9fl\u00e9chi qu'il n'y a pas vraiment un seul moment dans le b\u00e9n\u00e9volat pour KidSport qui se d\u00e9marque vraiment, car tout a \u00e9t\u00e9 significatif. Elle a beaucoup de bons souvenirs des collectes de fonds organis\u00e9es par leur comit\u00e9 et du soutien de la communaut\u00e9 derri\u00e8re celles-ci.<\/p>\n

\u201c Le b\u00e9n\u00e9volat est important car c'est un excellent moyen de soutenir sa communaut\u00e9 et de lui redonner \u201d, dit Shelley. Le fait d'avoir eu un chapitre KidSport \u00e0 Carlyle pendant toutes ces ann\u00e9es a \u00e9t\u00e9 inestimable pour les organisations sportives locales. Elles appr\u00e9cient de savoir que les familles qui ont besoin d'aide ont un moyen de s'assurer que leurs enfants pourront participer \u00e0 des sports.<\/p>\n

Son message aux autres, \u201c Impliquez-vous \u2019, Shelley encourage : \u201c faire du b\u00e9n\u00e9volat aupr\u00e8s de KidSport est une excellente occasion de faire une diff\u00e9rence dans la vie des enfants et des familles. \u201d<\/p>\n
