Auparavant, il avait \u00e9t\u00e9 membre de l'\u00e9quipe masculine de hockey m\u00e9daill\u00e9e d'or aux Jeux d'hiver de 2002 \u00e0 Salt Lake City. Il a \u00e9galement rejoint l'\u00e9quipe canadienne lors de sa septi\u00e8me place \u00e0 Turin, en Italie, en 2006.<\/p>\r\n<p>Jarome soutient SportJeunesse depuis tr\u00e8s longtemps. En 2000, il a promis de remettre 1 000 $ \u00e0 KidSport Calgary pour chaque but qu\u2019il marquerait pour les Flames de Calgary. Depuis, il a augment\u00e9 sa participation \u00e0 2 000 $ par but marqu\u00e9, dont la moiti\u00e9 est vers\u00e9e \u00e0 KidSport TM Canada afin d\u2019aider les enfants de partout au pays \u00e0 pratiquer un sport.<\/p>\r\n<h4>\u00ab Mes grands-parents croyaient aux bienfaits du sport et ont tout fait pour aider ma m\u00e8re \u00e0 me permettre de jouer au hockey.
