N\u00e9e et \u00e9lev\u00e9e en Saskatchewan, elle a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 pratiquer le tackle football avec les Saskatoon Valkyries \u00e0 la fin de ses \u00e9tudes secondaires, remportant deux titres nationaux.
