Kayden Johnson was born and raised in Saskatchewan. Kayden attended the University of Saskatchewan for one year before transferring to York University where he excelled in both track and football.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In 2020,\u00a0Johnson was drafted by the BC Lions.\u00a0With\u00a0the cancellation of the 2020 season due to\u00a0the\u00a0COVID-19\u00a0pandemic, Johnson\u2019s\u00a0CFL career\u00a0was put\u00a0on pause.\u00a0He used that time to pursue a spot on the\u00a0Canadian bobsled team. Johnson made the 33-man team and is now looking to represent Canada in the Winter Olympic\u00a0Games in 2026 in Italy.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":674,"template":"","meta":[],"categories":[16,14],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
