Since launching in 1995, KidSport Saskatchewan has helped more than 170,000 kids across the province\u00a0participate\u00a0in sport by providing more than $17 million in grants to cover registration fees.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On October 18,\u00a0KidSport hosted the Game Changers gala to\u00a0honour\u00a0and recognize\u00a0volunteers who have made that possible, whether\u00a0they\u2019d\u00a0been with KidSport for a day or for all 30 years of operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

In\u00a0collaboration\u00a0with SaskEnergy,\u00a0who is the Champion of Volunteers for KidSport Saskatchewan,\u00a0multiple individuals were celebrated during the event. This\u00a0includes Dorothy\u00a0Josephson and Jerry Shoemaker, who have both been with KidSport Saskatchewan for its 30-year existence.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition,\u00a0KidSport\u00a0honoured\u00a0volunteers who have\u00a0been\u00a0with\u00a0the organization\u00a0between 15-29 years from chapters across the province.\u00a0Our\u00a0<\/span>highlight reel<\/span><\/a>\u00a0showcases\u00a0each of these individuals.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Volunteers recognized at the event\u00a0received a gift from SaskEnergy and KidSport while\u00a0enjoying an\u00a0evening full of fun, laughter, celebration and\u00a0including\u00a0a Q&A and photos with Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation ambassadors Brett Lauther and Jemarcus Hardrick.\u00a0The evening was topped off with local Saskatchewan Comedian Darryl Koszman Jr.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
