Angela became involved with KidSport after being invited by another committee member and quickly recognized it as a meaningful way to give back to children in her community. Seeing the growing need for support among local families motivated her to get involved and to remain committed over the years.<\/p>\n
One of Angela\u2019s most stand out moments with KidSport Warman, Martensville & Area has been the outstanding support from the Martensville A&W. Their team has consistently gone above and beyond to help raise funds, organize fundraisers, connect with sponsors and more. \u201cTheir commitment to our community KidSport Chapter is something I\u2019ll never forget,\u201d Angela said.<\/p>\n
Angela strongly believes in the power of sport to bring people together while teaching valuable life skills. She feels every child deserves the opportunity to play, learn, and grow through sport. Angela is most proud of how many kids they have helped get into sport. Every approved application represents a child gaining confidence, friendships and life skills!<\/p>\n
\u201cKidSport has opened doors for families who may not have been able to afford sport otherwise,\u201d Angela shares. \u201cThe impact is felt across the entire community, it\u2019s created opportunity and inclusion for everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n
When we asked Angela why volunteering matters, her answer was simply COMMUNITY. Volunteering strengthens connections, builds a culture of care, and creates positive change that benefits everyone involved. Her advice to others? Just do it. The joy of helping others is truly unmatched.<\/p>\n
