A big thank you to Jason Gregor for hosting the evening at The Canadian Icehouse and promoting the KidSport mission! The venue was packed with eager pizza enthusiasts, who filled their plates with ‘zza from 19 amazing Pizzeria Partners, who donated 386 pizza boxes worth of dough to help KidSport raise some serious dough!
We played a special video on the screens during the evening to show the positive impact KidSport has on the local community. Whether you were a guest, pizzeria partner or corporate sponsor, we hope this video conveyed the importance your support plays in the community.
A big thanks to our 23 volunteers who were essential to ensure pizzas were delivered, received and organized on the massive pizza buffet, and ensuring our 50/50, Pizza Box Raffle, and Fill the Net Community Donation Board all ran smoothly throughout the evening. Without your support, events like this would not be possible.
Finally to our 264 guests who joined us. We hope you had a great time chowin’ down on delicious pizza all while creating equal access to sport for KidSport kids! Thank you for participating in voting for your favourite pizza’s, and adding a little more to the KidSport pot by participating in the 50/50 draw, Pizza Box Raffle and Filling the Net with a community donation!
With the support of our Corporate Partners, Pizzeria Partners, Pizza Box Raffle Partners, Volunteers and Guests, KidSport was able to raise $32,000+ net which will subsidize sport registration fees for 130 KidSport Kids, enabling access for them to participate in their favourite sport programs from soccer to martial arts to dance, and everything in-between.
