Sticks & Strings Foundation donates $20,000 to Give the Gift of Sport to Alberta kids!

ALBERTA – KidSport Alberta is proud to announce a new provincial partner, the Sticks & Strings Foundation. Through a $20,000 donation to KidSport, Sticks & Strings Foundation is paving the way for a future where all kids in Alberta have the opportunity to experience the power of organized sports.

Half ($10,000) of the donation goes directly to the ISCA KidSport Fund, that will help 40 Indigenous kids into sports. The other half of will go to the KidSport Alberta Provincial Fund, a fund that supports families who live outside of a KidSport chapter’s boundaries for funding.

Lauren Rodych-Eberle and her husband, Jordan Eberle recently started a Foundation called Sticks and Strings. Of the foundation, she said: “We are focusing all our efforts on kids’ overall wellness, from sports, to music, to reading and the outdoors, and supporting new parents in need.”
