A big THANK YOU to the Sovereign2SilverStar Ski Marathon event, the event volunteers and the partnership between Sovereign Lake Nordic Club and SilverStar Mountain Resort.
The 3rd annual S2S event fundraised $12,300 for KidSport Vernon this year.
The Sovereign2SilverStar event and donation provided a significant impact to Greater Vernon KidSport’s fundraising and awareness goal this year. The opportunity for elite to novice skiers to participate and compete at their level was amazing to see and be part of. Sport brings people together and allows kids (of all ages) to have fun, make new friends and work towards a goal.
