Ryan was a Canadian National Swimmer. He is an Olympic silver (2012) and bronze (2008) medallist in the 1500m freestyle, as well as a triple gold (2006, 2010, 2014) medalist of the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships. Ryanalso held the title of the Canadian Male Swimmer of the Year from 2008-2015.
Throughout the years Ryan has acted as a Team KidSport Ambassador at several events and initiatives, and has even donated private coaching sessions through Jon Montgomery Pizza Pigout silent auctions.
