The KidSport Cup Celebrity Pickleball Tournament is a corporate pickleball event that brings businesses together for an afternoon of team building, networking, and community impact. Participate in a pickleball event where players rotate through matches throughout the afternoon, allowing everyone on the team to get on the court while connecting with colleagues and other participating companies. There is a minimum entry fee, but each team is encouraged to fundraise in support of the cause. Date & Time: Thursday, May 7 | 12:00–4:00 PM Location: Pickleball Club of Winnipeg Team Size: Minimum of 2 players, maximum of 6 players per team Team Fee / Fundraising Minimum: $1,000 per team While teams will take part in the on-court pickleball event, fundraising is a key part of the day. The top three fundraising teams will earn a spot in a special feature bracket alongside two celebrity teams made up of local athletes and personalities (to be announced). This gives participants the opportunity to meet local celebrities, step onto the court with them, and be part of a memorable moment at the event. This event proudly supports KidSport Manitoba, a non-profit organization dedicated to removing financial barriers that prevent children from participating in organized sport. Through community fundraising and donations, KidSport helps cover sport registration fees for families who otherwise could not afford them. Our mission is simple: no kid should be left on the sidelines because of financial barriers. Funds raised through the KidSport Cup will directly support children across Manitoba, helping them access the physical, social, and developmental benefits of sport.
