Community Sport in Peterborough, Lakefield, and Norwood will now have the opportunity to bring more kids off the sidelines and into a season of their favourite sport thanks to a generous $25,000 donation to KidSport Ontario from Hydro One. By providing youth in low-income and marginalized situations a chance to experience all the benefits sport has to offer, KidSport and Hydro One are working together to energize and support communities.

Joined by Mayor Diane Therrien of Peterborough and Trent University student-athlete Rosalyn Shepherd, the power of community and sport were on full display.
