If your community does not have a local chapter, you can still apply for a KidSport grant through the Alberta Provincial Fund.

COMMON Questions
How can I get a KidSport grant for a child?
If your child, or a kid you know, could use extra support in getting into the sport of their choice, a KidSport grant can help!
Once the kid has been registered in their sport program, you can find your local chapter, or access the KidSport Provincial Fund to apply for a grant. Our secure online application form is the fastest way to send the required information, but you can also apply by paper form if you prefer.

Is KidSport a registered charity?
Yes! KidSport is an RCAAA, and qualified donee per the CRA. Our charitable number is 86212 5986 RR0003 .
What is the income cutoff to qualify for funding?
KidSport Alberta uses the Low Income Cut Off (LICO) number + 50%, based on number of residents in household. To qualify for funding, total household income will be below LICO plus 50% number (see below).
