Welcome to

KidSport Tri-Cities

TUES, MARCH 22, 2022: GEAR SALE SCHEDULED!  The sale is Saturday, April 23, 10-1:00 pm at Riverside Sec. Admission is by donation or non-perishable food items to SHARE. Equipment donation bins will be at the Port Moody, Poco and Poirier Sports and Leisure Centre from April 13-22.

This is the first full sale we’ve been able to hold since Mar 2020. We had a hockey only one last Aug, but had to cancel the full one in Sept.

We’re pretty excited to be able to hold it finally as it’s such a great community event. Tons of quality equipment is kept out of the landfill, the public gets to buy it at a very low cost, donations and food are collected for SHARE, and KidSport will hopefully raise about $30,000 to fund registration fees for families who are really struggling financially. Everyone wins!

KidSport Tri-Cities

We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Tri-Cities can play a season of sport.

Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $400 per child/year, for kids who live in Tri-Cities, or in one of the other communities we serve. If you live outside of Tri-Cities please contact the Provincial Office to find your nearest chapter, or to get support through the Provincial Fund.

All funds raised by KidSport Tri-Cities stay in our community to get local kids off the sidelines and into a season of sport. Let’s work together to build strong kids and strong communities!

Kids helped off the sidelines in Tri-Cities last year.

By supporting KidSport we all win. When kids have access to sport they improve in school, become stronger leaders, create safer communities, ignite inclusivity and fuel healthy habits for life.

OUR Team

KidSport Tri-Cities is made possible thanks to passionate volunteers and our incredible partners. Together we’re making it so no kid in Tri-Cities is left watching from the sidelines.
