Domtar has been a KidSport Community Champion over the last two years (2024 & 2025). Many Sunshine Coast youth will receive sports grants because of the mill’s generosity.
Howe Sound Pulp & Paper (a division of Domtar) representatives Andrea Holmes, HR coordinator, Jessica Nichol, HR manager and Lauren Adams, executive administrator, met with KidSport Sunshine Coast co-chairs Diane Wagner and Carol Duff presenting a donation to the Sunshine Coast KidSport Chapter. The opportunity for every child in the community to participate in youth sports is something that Domtar believes is a fundamental part of building strong leaders for the future.
“We would like to thank KidSport Sunshine Coast for their commitment to ensuring the financial burden is lessened for those that require assistance and Howe Sound Pulp & Paper welcomes the chance to contribute to that need,” commented Andrea Holmes. Diane Wagner and Carol Duff added, “Domtar’s donation will help many kids on the coast play their chosen sport this year.”
