During the COVID-19 pandemic, KidSport North Bay and KidSport Ontario will be accepting applications and reviewing them. However, with the uncertainty around whether spring/summer leagues will be playing and how long the seasons will be, we would will not be issuing cheque’s to sport clubs on behalf of the families until sport resumes.
We have not made this decision lightly. Our aim is to reduce the administrative burden (refunds and adjustments) on the sport system in the province. As soon as sport resumes we will immediately forward cheques to sport clubs on the child’s behalf so that they can begin playing.
In the meantime, we encourage all children to find ways to keep working on your sport skills and physical fitness at home so that you will be ready to get back to playing when sport returns. Should you have any questions, please contact your local chapter or the provincial office.
