KidSport Manitoba West Region

With the uncertainty around if certain sports will return and how long the seasons will be, we will not be issuing funding to sport clubs while Manitoba is under Code Red restrictions.  We do not take this decision lightly, but do so only to reduce the administrative efforts of our provincial office and across the sport system.

We are currently not accepting visitors in our provincial office, please contact KidSport Manitoba to have your questions answered. There is a dropbox for applications in the lobby of Sport Manitoba where you can submit your application.

What is a Grant?

KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Manitoba West provides grants of up to $300 per eligible kid, per year (January 1st - December 31st) towards sport registration fees.

KidSport grants are intended to be used for sport registration fees; camps, travel and competitions are not eligible for funding.

NEW: If your family's financial situation has been impacted due to COVID-19, please submit your most recent Notice of Assessment (2019) as well as verification that you have applied to, and received any of the following:
