Rebecca grew up in a hockey environment, with all 5 of her siblings sharing a love for the game. A member of Canada’s National Women’s Team since 2007, Johnston has competed in and won gold medals at two consecutive Olympic Winter Games – most notably, helping Canada to bring home the gold on our own soil in Vancouver 2010. After graduating from Cornell University, Johnston was drafted by the Toronto Furies of the CWHL where she was a key ingredient in leading them to the Clarkson Cup in the 2012-13 season.
Rebecca is a new member of Team KidSport who believes strongly in our mission to get kids off the sidelines and experience the benefits of organized sport.
