Share your stories this holiday season

At KidSport Ontario, we are committed to ensuring every young athlete can participate in organized sport. The work we do wouldn’t be possible without the strong partnerships we’ve built with sport clubs like yours. Together, we’ve been able to provide the vital resources, support, and opportunities to athletes in need. But we need your help to continue this important work.

2024 Give the Gift of Sport Campaign runs November 25 to January 6. To inspire more donors to donate to the KidSport Ontario Grant Program, we’re looking for testimonials and short video clips from our trusted sport club partners. Your personal stories about the impact of KidSport Ontario has had on your athletes, your club, and your community will help illustrate the importance of our mission – ensure that all kids have the chance to play.

Here’s How You Can Help

1. Testimonial: Share a brief written statement (just 2-3 sentences) about how the KidSport Ontario Grant Program has positively impacted your sport club and athletes. You could highlight any specific programs, events or support you’ve received, or share a success story that stands out.
2. Short Video Clip: If you’re open to it, we would love to feature a short (30-60 second) video from your team or athletes. This could be a simple message expressing what KidSport Ontario means to your sport club or a story of how the support your athletes received have made a difference.

Your stories and experience are powerful tools that help potential donors see the tangible benefits of their support. By hearing directly from you, they will understand how crucial our work is in creating opportunities for young athletes and building stronger communities through organized sports.

How to Submit

1. Written Testimonial: Send your testimonials to info@kidsportontario.ca by November 30
2. Short Video Clip: Upload your video to Instagram and Facebook and tag @kidsportontario or email it to KidSport Ontario directly at info@kidsportontario.ca by November 30
